Watch Joey Bada$$ Get Philosophical On USA's 'Mr. Robot'

Joey Badass Mr Robot 2

Joey Bada$$ is doing big things from killing it in the music game to now being on USA's acclaimed show Mr. Robot.

Joey's character, whose name is Leon, in the latest episode of Mr. Robot gets philosophical and historical with main character Elliot Alderson, all the while giving him some great advice about what his next moves should be. Joey Bada$$ made his debut in Mr. Robot this season, which is the show's second serving. Mr. Robot follows the story of Elliot played by Rami Malek, and fsociety, a hacker group that tries to take down an evil corporation aptly titled Evil Corp.

Joey's move into acting isn't too surprising. In an interview about the show, Joey talks about his acting background being formed while still in high school. He was enrolled in a screen theater program. But by the time junior year rolled around, Joey got kicked out of the program since he wasn't going to class much. He was spending his time making music. It worked out pretty well for him. Joey also talks about his audition. It involves an apple.

You can peep the interview here. Watch Joey Bada$$ drop some knowledge and get trippy on Mr. Robot below and be sure to catch Joey Bada$$, who will be joining TDE's own ScHoolboy Q, on tour. Scroll down for dates. It'll be exciting to see what else is in store for the 21 year-old Joey, acting wise.

In the meantime, you can watch season two of Mr. Robot for free via USA here.
