Watch Barack And Michelle Obama's Final Holiday Message From The White House

Before Barack and Michelle Obamaleave The White House next month, the First Family gave a final Christmas address to the country.

The video began with the Obamas revisiting footage of their first Christmas in The White Housein 2009. They go on to recount their Christmas parties, where they welcomed half a million guests and served 200,000 Christmas cookies.Barack also recounts some of he and the country's accomplishments over his eight yearsin office, including working out of the recession and passing the Affordable Care Act.

"By so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we first got here," Barack said. "And I'm hopeful we can build on the progress we made, together, in the years to come."

They then speak about how the Christmas holiday is a reminder of their Christianvalues of love,compassion, hope, and openness to supporting each other and the less fortunate. Barack then adds that such values are followed by other religious groups.
