Watch A 7 Year Old Dancer Steal The "Happy" Spotlight From Pharrell

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

They say "Wu Tang is for the children" but if anything is, it's Pharrell's "Happy." Despite being 19 months old, the R&B star's uber-hit seems to still have an electrifying effect on kids across the globe, a fact which was evident at a live concert in Leeds, England late last week when Pharrell invited a group of young fans on stage to dance and was positively shown up by a 7 year-old with some of the most impressive dance moves we've seen in quite some time.

The boy, Dylan, was videotaped from the venue's front row by his ecstatic father as he moonwalked and shimmied to the infectious "Happy" beat. According to the Youtube post's description, the Pharrell show was Dylan's first-ever concert, and damned if he didn't knock it out of the park. Those ecstatic of "That's my boy!" from behind the camera lens are enough to warm even the coldest, most cynical of hearts. Pharrell's been known to cut a rug of his own but this grade schooler has just put him on notice.

In a comment, the young boy's father wrote "I must admit I got a little lost in the moment. I do feel slightly embarrassed when watching it back now but let's be honest....it's not everyday your child gets to dance on stage with a global superstar and wow the audience." Consider us all wowed--watch the video below.
