Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus & FKA Twigs All Snag Multiple VMA Nominations
MTV has unveiled the list of nominations for its upcoming 2015 VMA Awards, and from the looks of things Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, FKA Twigs and, of course, Taylor Swift all have much to celebrate. Lamar's brilliant clip for "Alight" netted the MC nominations in four categories, including Best Hip-Hop Video and Video of the Year. FlyLo also received some long-overdue recognition with multiple nominations for his "Never Catch Me" clip, while FKA Twigs is being trumpeted as a dazzling newcomer with two different productions garnering nominations.
Other clear leaders in the nomination race are Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Mark Ronson, whose street-savvy "Uptown Funk" video is in the running in five different categories.
