Flying Lotus Drops A Stunning Clip For "Never Catch Me" w/ Kendrick Lamar, Lands On The Cover Of FADER

Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus & FKA Twigs All Snag Multiple VMA Nominations

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

MTV has unveiled the list of nominations for its upcoming 2015 VMA Awards, and from the looks of things Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, FKA Twigs and, of course, Taylor Swift all have much to celebrate. Lamar's brilliant clip for "Alight" netted the MC nominations in four categories, including Best Hip-Hop Video and Video of the Year. FlyLo also received some long-overdue recognition with multiple nominations for his "Never Catch Me" clip, while FKA Twigs is being trumpeted as a dazzling newcomer with two different productions garnering nominations.

Other clear leaders in the nomination race are Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Mark Ronson, whose street-savvy "Uptown Funk" video is in the running in five different categories. The 2015 VMAs will be hosted by Miley Cyrus and will happen August 30th at 9 p.m. EST. Read a full list of category nominations below.
