Yasiin Bey seems to have developed a taste for trap bombast. After jumping on that Lil Wayne & Rick Ross instrumental last month, Mighty Yasiin pulls another rabbit out of his hat by delving into Waka Flocka Flame‘s National Brawl Anthem, “Hard In the Paint.” Enlisting the help of the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, our good friend might soon bring the Grove St. Party to a highbrow concert hall near you. Watch his joint performance with the Orchestra of “Life In Marvelous Times” at Bed-Stuy’s Restoration Park after the jump.

Awesome show. Yasiin gave a lot to Brooklun that night. Major shout out to NATE SMITH on the drums. His playing is brilliance in motion and when he and Yasiin did the piece “Something Spiritual”…it was indeed a spiritual movement. And the improv that just Yasiin and Nate did on “Casa Bey” was something that even rehearsed cats probably couldn’t have mastered. It was a moment of musical bonding that couldn’t have been prepared…it was just an instant instinctive connection.
