Video: The Bullitts x Idris Elba Live + Q&A + “Weirdo”

The Bullits just sent us a big update of their activities and let’s just say ‘busy as fuck’ would be an understatement, so let’s get right to it. Please find attached one (1) vid of dudes performing at the Big Chill Festival with Jay Electronica, Lucy Liu, & Idris Elba –bullet! bullet!–(via BM above), one (1) Jeymes Samuel and Jay Elec interview taken right after the show ( via SC below) and one (1) new (to us) video “Weirdo” (after the jump). You got your homework cut out for you but I’ll just add that the excitement around this whole project is due not so much just the bold-face names attached but the way each song/statement–even the live show–1) makes it’s own rules, pushing the boundary between film and music but 2) stills stands up as exciting new music even if you’re blind and never heard of The Wire.
