It’s fitting that Statik Selektah has titled his new LP, Population Control, because dude has really been holding down the underground hip-hop community for a minute now, seemingly dropping well put together albums every other month featuring a who’s who in relevant rappers (at least to me). His latest release will have features from Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T., Talib Kweli, Bun B, Dom Kennedy, Joell Ortiz, Freddie Gibbs, Brother Ali, Sean Price, Styles P, Colin Munroe, and more.
