Video: Pharoahe Monch “Black Hand Side” f/ Styles P & Phonte

Red Bull just premiered the video for my personal favorite song off of Pharoahe Monch‘s W.A.R. album. Check out the visuals for “Black Hand Side” featuring Styles P and Phonte, shot on the streets of Brooklyn, NY. I could definitely use a pair of those glasses, I haven’t seen that much black love in BK since Obama was elected. Video directed by Terence Nance.

There goes my baby Pharoahe back at it again. Kinda mad Phonte didn’t at least spit a cpl a bars in this one, but great track overall. And great video concept (and i’m sayin this AFTER the track was heard with eyes closed, lol. i believe in LISTENING to a song before WATCHING it. )

This track goes hard. I mean I love phonte rhyming over tracks but this was suitable for him to do his singing thing on the hook. I can’t object on him doing the hook, its beautiful, we need more bars and verses though

Its funny, you can tell that Styles P don’t cook by the way he’s cutting up those vegetables. And also, Phonte really looked like he was hemming up the mohawk boy forreal forreal.
