Video: Onra “Intro” (dir. Mikael Colombu)

I’m not sure exactly what’s happening in this video that Mikael Columbu created for the intro track off Onra‘s recent LP Long Distance but imagine if you saw this as a teaser or ad spot before you heard the album? You would think that Onra was a new multi-user virtual reality game where you have to rescue a French dimepiece from giant chess horsemen who live in the sky–and the Black Knight has the gothic D from a Detroit fitted as his coat-of-arms. But then again if you remember the Basquiat and Egypt-obsessed serial killers from Colombu’s video for “Bodies” by Cee-Lo Green, what else would you expect really?
