While I’m in Detroit nationalist mode, check this nice little promo for Mayer Hawthorne‘s forthcoming LP How Do You Do? (dropping October 11th) which features everybody but Mayer Hawthorne. Mayer Hawthorne is a hobbit, Mayer Hawthorne is an Afro’d drum-god, Mayer Hawthorne is a guitar legend, Mayer Hawthorne is Bruno Mars. Mayer Hawthorne is everyday people, that’s what I’m trying to say. We are all Mayer Hawthorne. He is the man and we are him, so if you lay out a few dollars for this album on Oct. 11th, you are putting money in your own pocket.
