Video: Kids These Days SXSW 2012 Recap + “Summerscent”

I really tried my hardest to see damn near every show time would allow while I was in Austin for SXSW. One of the acts I did want to catch, but missed was a band out of Chicago called Kids These Days. Luckily, I’ll get a second chance to see their live set in June during the 5th annual Roots Picnic. For now, get a sample of what you missed out on in Austin with this exclusive SXSW recap vid. Video directed by Austin Vesely. I LOVE THIS SONG & VIDEO! By far my favorite on Hard Times. I wish i can see them! I’m definitely going to as soon as I get a chance! Kids These Days, for sure my favorite and best band out there.. Keep it up Kids!

Kids These Days and Idle Warship were my two main highlights of SXSW. Kids These Days brought incredible energy to every show (yeah, I went to all five) and was always a crowd favorite. It was super cool to see everyone of all ages grooving to the music. Aside from being great musicians and passionate about their craft, KTD are just all around great people. They deserve everything coming their way.
