We’ve been monitoring this ongoing 15th anniversary video contest over at Stones Throw and this Jaylib submission, from Rory Gamble and Demetrios Katsantonis is our favorite so far. It stars an angry rap-donut as the protaganist of Madlib‘s absurd hold-up narrative from “The Heist” and follows the animated action back and forth between Detroit and Dillawood. I grew up in detroit and I can tell you firsthand this is EXACTLY what it looks like.
