This morning’s news seems to be all about fuzzy images and fleeting glimpses of what threatens to be some great music–another case in point, this teaser/behind-the-scenes clip of Erykah Badoula working in the lab with Dallas-based production crew The Cannibanoids on a new psychedelic hip-hop track (sounds sort of like Dilla meets early Bomb Squad, which is to say, sounds like I need it) which will be offered as a free download by Red Bull on March 17th–judging by the information on the video-bumper, looks like there will be a full-length project (Beat Tape, Vol. 1) and a live event to premiere the tracks as well.
