Video: D’Angelo X Funkadelic “Soul Mate” Live At GQ Photo Shoot

In between donning bespoke suits and baring his soul in the current issue of GQ magazine, D’Angelo plugged in to put down an impromptu performance of what sounds like Funkadelic‘s “Soul Mate” on the set of the photo shoot. ANYWAYS. i like what the f*ck i’m hearing. Point blank. Go on and grow musically, D. Robin Thicke, hell even Alicia Keys aren’t the best at playing soulfully, but i still love hearing Robin Thicke’s work. Just tell your boy ?uestlove to HUSH because clearly people are having heart attacks and strokes over even the slightest of comparisons.
