Last night, I headed over to Highline Ballroom in NYC to catch Common‘s album release show. As you should be well aware of at this point, Com’s The Dreamer/The Believer is in stores today (cop that bundle, son it’s sold out, get the physical here). I’ll go to just about anybodies show once, but I’ve seen Com live umpteen times at this point because he actually puts on a good show ( and the new music’s dope) – always full of energy and actually appearing to have a good time while he’s on stage. Cornbread went through old hits, new ish from the album, and of course threw an off the top freestyle session in there. The show then hit a new high when he brought Nas out to perform “NY State of Mind,” and then to join Common for their collabo “Ghetto Dreams.” But there’s no need to read about how it went, check above for a stream of the entire show.

his skills on stage are unmatched… I have seen him perform at least 6-7 times and the quality is just simply unmatched.
