Video: Chico Mann on Live at The Loft Episode 2

In case we never mentioned, our good friend and rated photographer/videographer TONE does this little thing where he enlists select musicians to come play at his loft in New Jersey, invites some cool people, videotapes the performance and edits it together with a little interview and calls it art. For the second in the series, Live at the Loft features the Afro-cubist laptop music of Chico Mann, getting spacey with nothing more than a whole lot of knobs and his own soul. This makes a great introduction if you’re not up on Chico and if you are, its still worth sticking your head into this 5-minute dream-bubble; music, words and TONE’s ability to capture the after-midnight atmposphere all immersing you in the moment.
