About 10 hours ago ?uestlove asked hip-hop writer/producer extraordinaire (and my longtime homey) Joseph “Jazzbo” Patel: “Why am I seeing all these Kane tweets?” Here’s why: The original dapper rapper was just profiled on TV One’s Unsung documentary series (alongside Deniece Williams and The Ohio Players, among others) which is now online. Watch and learn.

This gave me and I’m sure a lot of us who were little kids during the 80′s/early 90′s the chills.
That shit was Dope. Kane was and still is the man.
Thats how we do it in BK. Kane, BIG, Jay… we got fly thugs.
Dope!
Kane was a beast but lost his way after It’s a Big Daddy thing. His formula works best with a lot of lyrical jams, two party tracks, and one or two for the ladies. When he went all for the ladies he lost his loyal following… Still one of the the greatest of all time though for sure….
raw was not Big Daddy Kanes first single, dope doc but I hate when they semi-change history. Kanes first single..was “get into it”……very dope record.
Kane dopest mc of all time…..everyone wanted to be kane
