Not just because it’s the opening track of his last mixtape, and literally the first song in my alphabetized iTunes library, but I must’ve played A-1‘s song “On My Way” a hundred times over after I first listened to it. While “Circulate” is a very powerful song, the strong beat and breathtaking imagery in the video help lift it up, while with just the assistance of a piano the Bay Area emcee squeezes just about as much motivation and life direction one can fit in under 2 minutes with his latest video.
