Joey Bada$$ In The Studio With Pete Rock

Beatgod Pete Rock cued up some of his trademark creations for young gun Joey Bada$$ in this studio session captured on video by Creative Control/Cinematic TV. We like what we here at least judging by the ambient audio–much crispier than you’d normally expect from a viral vid of this sort. Judging by Pete’s expression he does too when Joey starts ad-libbing, writing and editing some rhymes in-camera, so to speak. It’s all tied into Joey’s Ecko Unlimited mixtape project, which so far has yielded only good things (catch the video for “Underground Airplay” featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Smoke DZA over here and after you watch below check a similar studio session with DJ Premier over here).
