nowhere in this update does it say the roots are retiring, nor have we ever said that. they are looking ahead to a big change in their day-to-day with the Fallon gig, but one that is dependent on a variety of factors outside of them. also, they are still making albums and will be doing shows, just at the moment, not the tours we’ve watched them go on for all these years now.
props to them man…i had the honor of seeing them about 14…enjoy the rest (or something like that!)

i was at the last concert in south korea. I must say that a lot of koreans didn’t know what to expect..but what they saw was one of the best shows they ever seen in their lives!!! me included!!!! i feel honered just to see their last concert. it was wonderful!!!
