Last month, the members of Twin Shadow were involved in a gruesome bus crash that forced frontman George Lewis Jr. to have reconstructive surgery on his hand and has left their drummer still hospitalized to this day. But that didn't stop Lewis Jr. and Zoë Kravitz from wrangling the troops for a stripped-bare take on Sade's Grammy-nominated, '92 classic "No Ordinary Love" on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night. It was an intimate, tender affair with the two vocalists providing a delicate duet of a supremely sweet '90s slow jam for the late night crowd. The performance marked Twin Shadow's first live appearance since the crash and may be the only manifestation of the group they can put together for the time being. But we commend their resilience and hope for everyone to make a speedy recovery in the months to come, even if it means we don't get to see them and live and direct for a minute. Twin Shadow released their third studio album Eclipse which is out via Warner Bros. and can be purchased on iTunes today.
