Tracy Morgan's Star Is Headed To The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Now that Tracy Morgan seems to have finally gotten his in the aftermath of the deadly crash that claimed the life of longtime friend and comedian James McNair, we're happy to report that Morgan's 2015 victories won't end there. The still recovering comedy giant has been selected as the latest class of show biz greats to earn a five-cornered plaque on Hollywood's walk of fame. Morgan joins Kevin Hart, Bruno Mars, Adam Levine, Steve Carell, Bradley Cooper, Ashley Judd, Michael Keaton, Kurt Russell, Quentin Tarantino, Kathy Bates, David Duchovny, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, LL Cool J, and Cyndi Lauper as this year's selections for a star bearing their names. And while we were pulling for his well-earned honors to be posted up right next to other comedic heavyweights like Richard Pryor or George Carlin, it seems he's got some other plans for the placement:
“I am honored to be getting a walk of fame star. I hope they put me next to my biological father Charlton Heston from Planet of the Apes!”— Tracy Morgan (@Tracy Morgan) 1435096147
All jokes aside, we're happy to see that he's well on his way on the road to recovery and that his spirits seem to be in the right place. There's no word as to when the ceremony will take place just yet, but we'll be sure to have the full scoop for you once more details roll out. For now, a hardy congratulations is in order. We're pulling for you, Tracy!
