While making the international rounds promoting his freshly-released album Anything In Return, Toro y Moi decided to lay down piano versions of two tracks at le mouv studios in Paris. The songs in question--"Studies" and "Grown Up Calls"--show a softer side to the trademark Toro y Moi electro x funk x indie pop sound, and are a nice departure to complement the original studio recordings. Earlier this month, Tororeleased the video for the first single, "Say That," while Anything In Return dropped officially just a few days ago. If, like most of us, you have a little (or a lot) of this dude in your requisite "house party" playlist, consider the sessions at le mouvthe newest additions to your post-party cool down set.
