The past few weeks have been ripe with new one-offs from Toro Y Moi, proving beyond a reasonable doubt that The South Carolinian chill-wave pioneer is far more prolific than any of us could have possible imagined. Today yet another track has risen from the internets, featuring Philly's own verbal athlete Rome Fortune on mic duties. "Pitch Black" is a sobering, slightly industrial sounding groove built with sweeping synths and oscillations galore, providing plenty of room for Fortune to work in his laid back delivery. The track is but the latest loosie to make way since the recent release of What For?, which is available to purchase on iTunes today.
