There’s a whole lot on the horizon for followers of the immensely talented Chaz Bundick AKA Toro y Moi (and now) AKA Les Sins. While loyalists probably already know this alias as one Bundick released more electronically tinged dance-floor grooves under a few years back, the rest of us laymen are just getting acquainted with this new side of the
North South Carolina-born funkateer. Today we’re getting a whiff of some potent nu-disco joints with the release of the lead-off single “Bother,” off his upcoming debut album as Les Sins, which boasts a driving four-to-the-floor treatment with glitchy synths and vocal samples peppered throughout.
The offering comes as a quick 2-punch to Bundick’s recent production feature on KOOL A.D. and Amaze 88‘s “The Front” just last week and his contribution to Chromeo‘s White Women single “Come Alive.” Needless to say your boy is showing up everywhere and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Toro’s debut album as Les Sins Michael is due on digital shelves November 4th via his newly established Company Records imprint and it’s available to preorder on iTunes today.
