Tony Allen and longtime collaborator Damon Albarn linked once more for the exciting new offering "Go Back" off the legendary Africa 70 drummer's upcoming record Film Of Life. Marking maybe the third or fourth manifestation of Fela's musical director and the Blur/Gorillaz/Good, Bad & The Queen frontman-- following the Rocket Juice & The Moon super trio and the two linking on Albarn's own side-projects-- "Go Back" flaunts Allen's Afrobeat chops under some funked-out muted guitar licks and Albarn's affectionate croon, but plays more like Talking Heads meets Fela, naturally.
