Tink -"Ratchet Commandments" (prod. by TImbaland)

Tink returns with a blazing test of lyrical fortitude, pulling the veil of her latest Timbaland-helmed heater "Ratchet Commandments." And in terms of lyrical fortitude, she's on point. However, the content of those lyrics is a bit unnerving, as she rather callously defines what the sexual standards are for women across the board, and then seems to expect them to abide. These are her "Ratchet Commandments" after all and while the words aren't as stone-set as the title applies, it's hard for me to get behind a track that puts such a shameful light on women that control their sexuality, who opt for the self-defined route.

Having said all that, there's still a whole lot promise for young Tink, whose production is always on point (thanks to Timbo) and whose verbal is still very much an asset, if only it were geared towards empowering women instead of shading them. In any case, it doesn't appear that we have a date for her Timbo-produced debut as of yet, but I'm sure that'll be making it's way down imminently. In the meantime, put your ears to Tink's latest single "Ratchet Commandments" below and let us know how you feel about it in the comment section.
