Tinashe & DJ Cassidy Share A Playful Rework Of Tom Tom Club's "Genius Of Love"

Back in 1981, Tom Tom Club's "Genius Of Love" was an inescapable radio smash helmed by two Talking Heads. Today, it's likely best known as the source material for some of hip-hop and r&b's no-brainer classics, like Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five's "It's Nasty" and Mariah Carey's "Fantasy." Today, Tinashe and selector-to-the-stars, DJ Cassidy, have their way with the track, updating it with textures of the time (dancehall-ish transitions, 808s and the like.)
