TIDAL X: Common + The National Symphony Orchestra Presented By Okayplayer & Kennedy Center [Live Stream]

Common Will Perform a Free Show with The National Symphony Orchestra in DC Tomorrow Night

Once again it’s on, y’all.

After packing out Washington, D.C.’s Kennedy Center with an incredible performance from the talented trio of queens known as KING, we’re back in the saddle with the legendary venue to live stream another must-see event, TIDAL X: Common & The National Symphony Orchestra, presented by Okayplayer and Kennedy Center.

Led by the National Symphony Orchestra and its principal conductor Steven Reineke, award-winning MC, Common, will perform his greatest hits as part of the TIDAL X series in partnership with us here at Okayplayer.

For those outside the D.C. area, yet want to see Common backspin into your ears, don’t worry, the live stream is free and viewable below beginning at 5:00 p.m. PST / 8:00 p.m. EST. In an attempt to give audiophiles the best quality entertainment on-and-off the web, we’re also live streaming “The Soulquarians: D.C. Pays Tribute to Common,” which will begin at 2:30 p.m. PST / 5:30 p.m. from the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage.

Curated by Jamal Gray, a D.C.-based conceptual artist, and musician, and the multimedia arts collective CMPVTR CLVB — “The Soulquarians” event is a pretty damn good pre-show intro to lead into seeing the Emmy, Grammy and Oscar award winner get busy on the M-I-C.

So, set your iWatch, lock in your calendar and grab your best house slippers to get your boogie on when Common and the National Symphony Orchestra get funky for you at the Kennedy Center.
