Thundercat has dropped us another bass-heavy track from his forthcoming album, Apocalypse. Co-Produced with beat genius Flying Lotus, "Oh Sheit It's X" is a discofunk-inflected dance track that combines party vibes with the feeling of inhaling helium. In other Thundercat news, he recently took part in A Night of Improvised Round Robin Duets as part of the Red Bull Music Academy. The show saw artists who don't usually perform together improvise for a five minute duet. The bass player was joined by experimental guitarist Mary Halvorson for a moment of jazz magic before making some eerie noise with vocalist Julia Holter.
