Throwback Thursday: Naughty By Nature's Greatest Hits!

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Naughty By Nature are headlining Roots Picnic Saturday, playing the crowning set of the night alongside The Roots themselves in what might be, I stress MIGHT be one of their last shows ever, given the recent tension between Treach and Vinrock, ether which spilled over into their twitter timelines. We are so amped and/or distraught we don't know which Hollywood celeb cameo we wish for more: Spike Lee to lead us all in the "HipHop Hooray" dance or Michael Rappaport to document the human drama (and maybe give the NBN brothers a common enemy). We can't say whether Naughty By Nature will keep it together for more shows in the foreseeable future, but if not--Roots Picnic backed by The Roots? What a way to go out. Given the historic nature of this picnic and in the name of getting officially in the mood for this weekend and this overdue summer weather, it seemed only right, kid. Here is Naughty By Nature's greatest hits from their debut 12" "Scuffin Those Knees", released as The New Style to "It's On." Along the way enjoy the peaks and peaks of hits like "O.P.P."; "Uptown Anthem" and yes "HipHop Hooray." We expect you to have every bar of these rapid-fire Naughty By Nature lyrics memorized by Saturday and no matter what happens, remember: Everything's Gonna Be Alright.
