This Is The Dope
The homie Kenny put me on to a new trio that definitely will be holding my attention for the foreseeable future. OKP favorite Black Spade joins forces with fellow St. Louis natives Teresajenee and Indiana Rome to form aptly named group, This Is The Dope. The trio pressed a 5-track EP onto two limited edition 7" singles that will be available starting today via Reca.sto and various other local shops in St. Louis. The project features production and vocals from all three members. To give you a sample, check out the lead single, "3013" (they're a thousand years ahead of what you're listening to, catch up). To describe the sound, Spade says it best: "some intergalactic type shit my nigga, nah mean?" I'd say it's dope, but the title already told you that - let's hope this is just the beginning.
