THEESatisfaction have tricked out their mothership-built-for-two with some new sonics in the single "Recognition," featuring fellow Pacific Northwest-natives Shabazz Palaces and Erik Blood. Salute to Okayafrica for putting us on to this righteous new joint from the first ladies of Seattle's Black Weirdo crew, as "Recognition" shines a light on the duo's spacey roots with a dazzling atmospheric treatment. What's more, the QueenS have a new album on the way in the form of their EarthEE LP (out February 24th via Sub Pop) which aligns their afro-futuristic stars with that of the aforementioned Shabazz Palaceers, bass sage Meshell Ndegeocello, young MC Porter Ray, Taylor Brown and more.
