That ever-inventive and genre-defying R&B duo we know as THEESatisfaction is back, bearing brand new visuals for "EarthEE," the title track off their most recent LP. Buttressed by fellow Seattle-dwellers Shabazz Palaces, Erik Blood and Porter Ray, the clip draws us into a deep royal blue universe in which Stas and Cat drift to and fro, cooly delivering their requests for freer minds and more peaceful days. Like the best psychedelic trip you've never taken, it's an ideal way to spend a few minutes detached from the toils of everyday life and right in step with the creative, hazy elements of the THEESatisfaciton catalog.
Stereogum reports that the "EarthEE" video was directed by Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes, who called it “a short visual meditation on the textile traditions of home, sacred Geo Metrics, theta based communication and the whirling dervish.
