Premiere: The Visions Return With Pop Ambitions On "White Dress"

It's been a minute since we caught up with Brooklyn's self-proclaimed "last boy band," The Visions. Their last release, 2014's Wishing Well, provided a thorough introduction to the trio's warm and soulful take on pop and organic r&b. And though years have passed, today they prove the wait was more than worth it with the arrival of their new single "White Dress," self-released in the build-up to a new project.

Revealing pop ambitions akin to Phoenix or HAIM, "White Dress" is a propulsive synth and drum freakout underscored by muted guitar licks and lead singer Ben Shugarman's breathy vox, eventually dissolving into a Fleetwood Mac type washed-outro; a perfect addition to the workout mix that'll have you yearning for summer's return. Stream The Visions' intoxicating new single "White Dress" down below via Spotify and if it's good to ya, take it home with you on iTunes today. And there's plenty more on the way, so be sure to keep your ear to the ground for more in the weeks and months ahead. Until then, you can also reacquaint yourselves with the group's 2014 release Wishing Well on Bandcamp.
