The Roots Challenge Schenectady High School Senior Draven Rodriguez With Their Own Laser Cats Photos On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Roots And Cats And Lasers, Oh My! + More On The Tonight Show

The Roots recently stepped up to the plate to challenge Schenectady High School student Draven Rodriguez, who posed for an unforgettable yearbook photo with his cat Mr. Bigglesworth and a few well-placed laser beams. The challenge followed Jimmy Fallon's acknowledgement of Rodriguez's viral laser cats photo on The Tonight Show. Rodriguez's campaign to have his photo included in the school's 2015 yearbook picked up steam and eventually evolved to include the school's principal Diane Wilkinson and her Chihuahua, Vivienne. While Rodriguez's photo will not be allowed to appear with the official senior portraits, it will be printed elsewhere in the yearbook; Rodriguez and Wilkinson's group portrait will be published in attempts to bring more attention to rescue animals. Though Rodriguez's laser cats photo is an unforgettable way to wrap a high school career, Black Thought argues that the Schenectady senior jacked him for the idea before presenting his own yearbook photo as evidence. The only problem with his defense is that Questlove and James Poyser both disagree. Check out the footage below to find out why. Skip to the 2:25 mark to see how this all plays out.
