Alright, I have little information on this project, but I can tell you it’s some of the best music I’ve heard in awhile. The Log.Os is a free project from Ken Barrientos aka KenBts. (producer/engineer/sound-designer for Blu, Bilal, Shafiq Husayn, J*DaVeY, and more) and vocalists Nikko Gray and Iman Omari. Also featured on the release are Bilal and Ty$ (of Ty & Kory) – with an added bonus remix version of Bilal’s “Levels.” KenBts. lays a dreamy landscape of mood heightening beats, while Nikko, Iman, Bilal, and Ty$ add the perfect complimentary vocals for his sound. This ish is very replayable (and if you’re into the recreational enhancers, I couldn’t think of a better soundtrack to my your day). You can look up the etymology behind the title and get its’ meaning within the context of ancient Greek philosophy – but I’d suggest just pressing play and coming up with your own interpretation.
