The Beastie Boys & Nas Run Amok In The Unreleased Video For "Too Many Rappers"

Back when we still had MCA in the world, The Beastie Boys and Nas joined forces with Roman Coppola to bring a vision of their collaborative joint "Too Many Rappers" to life, but for whatever reason (and much to our dismay) that clip never saw the light of day. Having said that, it seems you can always count on at least one devout fan to get their hands dirty in the weird and wild abyss that is the internet and find what was once thought to be scrapped. Today one of those stans did just that and the result, though a bit grainy and disorderly, proves to be perfectly fitting for the legendary link-up of NYC greats, which was, oddly enough, the first and only collaboration The Beasties and Nasty ever put together. It finds the quartet of Big Apple bombers marauding grocery stores, drive-thrus and parking lots in broad daylight, mixing in live footage and studio clips for the visual accompaniment to this standout from the Beasties' eighth and final studio album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two. Watch the freshly unearthed clip for The Beastie Boys and Nas' "Too Many Rappers" below.
