Another happy birthday blessing is in order for the one, the only Chance The Rapper, who is turning 24 today (Apr. 16).
As you all have probably heard, the three-time Grammy Award winner is ringing in another year around the sun by throwing a party benefiting Social Works — the volunteer organization he co-founded to encourage the youth through arts, education and community engagement.
With a few hours left before the festivities start, Chano’s younger baby brother, Taylor Bennett, gave him one of the best gifts possible: a new song.
My only brother Taylor Bennett made me this song for my birthday and brought me to tears. https://t.co/NE4DBuH5Qe

The song, produced by LudLow, is called “Only Brother” and finds the duo flipping the D.R.A.M.-infused “Special” from Coloring Book. With a smooth double-time flow, Taylor raps about how important he is to not to the world, but to him as a family member.
It is a heartwarming song and full of #BlackBoyJoy that surely will be contagious as we go deeper into the year.
For those in Chicago, Chano’s birthday celebration will begin at 9:00 p.m. at Studio Paris Nightclub in River North. Promising special guests and cool surprises — all proceeds from the event are going to Social Works, which will likely be funneled through to Chicago Public Schools.
Chance the Birthday is 21 and over.
