Tangina Stone Builds Up For 'Elevate' Release w/ "Anxious"
Mental health affects around 450 million people around the world, according to the World Health Organization. It is among the leading causes of ill-health and disability and if you know anyone suffering from such ailments, please help them get help.
With that said, Brooklyn singer-songwriter Tangina Stone has addressed her own issues with mental health on the WOLFGVNG produced cut, “Anxious”. The second song from her forthcoming debut album, Elevate, deals with her lifelong battle with anxiety. As she attempts to dispel the negative connotations attached to dealing with it, she promotes the importance of getting the required help necessary to feel at peace.
“Anxious” comes on the heels of her 2014 debut, The Fall, amidst three solid years of love, lost and personal growth. Elevate is the result of all those experiences and changes, and is reflected in the sounds coupled on the album. From fusing R&B, electronic, rock and soul, Elevate takes you through the gambit of her emotional states such as social crisis, tragedy and self-care.
