Darondo and Tall Black Guy single art

Tall Black Guy returns with another funky, soul-satisfying track, this time featuring the likes of Darondo on vocals. This smooth joint is a flip of Darondo’s 1972 west coast cruisin’ classic “Didn’t I,” with some added synth bass and signature TBG funk. It’s but one of the Darondo flips off of an EP titled Luv ‘n Haight Edit Series Vol. 5, which also includes a flip by Dandy Teru. We haven’t heard anything new from Darondo in a while, but we can hope that his music’s recent resurgence might pull the Northern Californian out of hiding and back into the limelight. Check the track below and cop the EP on iTunes.
