Perhaps some of you recall late last year when it was announced that Talib Kweliand The Soul Rebels would be joining forces for a a very special, very brassy string of joint tour dates, appropriately dubbed Sound System.
Well good people, today they've extended their joint stage-wrecking endeavor by adding a three-night residency at BK's own Brooklyn Bowl that is sure to be a treat. The residency will take place at the tail-end of February and is slated to feature a stud list of special guests, already including NOLA bounce queen Big Freedia, Pro Era's next up Kirk Knight and the immutably soulful styling of one Nigel Hall, with more to be announced in the days and weeks ahead.
