Talib Kweli feat. Seu Jorge- "Favela Love"

The BK MC Talib Kweli drops a sultry visual for his bittersweet Bossa Nova-tinged love song “Favela Love” directed by everyone’s favorite superhero Jean Grae. The Brazilian groove rocks sweet keys and Rhodes, plus a swinging true-bossa mid-song break down rounding out what seems to be a tale of Kwe being the dude on the side. Its a fun and seductive stroll on the sands of Rio de Janeiro’s pristine beaches and storybook romantic sentiments, making it the perfect song to warm up to on such a dreary BK day. The Terrace Martin produced track  features some deep vocal styles from Brazil’s own Seu Jorge and dawns from Kweli’s fifth solo studio release Prisoner of Consciousness. So break through the clouds with this sweetness from the Kweli camp and go pre-order the next heater in the oven Gravitas before its drops December 15th. Watch the beach-bum visuals of Talib Kweli’s “Favela Love” produced by Jean Grae below.

Yo Mr. Greene, you still (and always have) got it. Proud of you. To me you’re the embodiment of this:
“Don’t let them bring you down, it’s only castles burning, just find someone who’s turning, and you will come around” (Neil Young)
