Talib Kweli Details Forthcoming Collaborations And The Chances Of A Black Star Reunion

In the Okay-realm, there may not be a more coveted rekindling than that of Talib Kweli & the artist formerly known as Mos Def as the dynamic super-duo Black Star. With both artists, yes even Mos, churning out features left and right, 2015 seems like primetime for that reconnection. But an new interview with the BK MC proves that might not actually be the case, desperate as we are. Kweli recently sat with VLAD TV to discuss the copious collaborations underway and which of those we'll be seeing, as well as what's to come from his burgeoning Javotti Media camp, which houses the talents of NIKO IS, MK Asante and recent signee K'Valentine. According to Talib, you're more likely to see his Indy 500 project with 9th Wonder and Pharoahe Monch arrive before a true, blue Black Star joint. But that's just fine, folks. If the last few months have proved anything, it's that the man never seems to take a break and at the very least, we might just see the two rock once more in a live setting, just like that one electric night at Radio City Music Hall. So keep your fingers crossed and your eyes on us. We'll be sure to have the scoop if/when the time is right. Watch Talib Kweli's interview with VLAD TV below. And in the meantime, you can always catch that tasty b-side from the duo that Kweli dropped on his surprise Train Of Thought compilation.
