The homie Theo is back with some new music in '09. This song is entitled "Check In." He's definitely doing more than just checking in, the kid's spittin' on this one.

Back in August, The Rhode Island Hero himself, Theo, debuted his mixtape, The Birth, here on Okayplayer. Y'all showed the tape nothing but love, and today Theo put out his first video from the project for the track "Dillagence" (Dir. by Randy Joel Herrera). Look out for the kid Theo in '09, I see you Hil! Haha.
I'm feelin this one right here. Last night Theo and Christian Rich teamed up to put out this song, "Too Young." The production is type nasty. Naija is definitely doin' big things.

As we continue to wrap up CMJ, here are some more videos from last weeks shows. First we have Torae and Skyzoo performing "Get It Done" at Southpaw from last Friday. Despite technical difficulties, these two really killed that set, as did every other act on the bill. Damn, talk about a monster lineup on this remix. U-N-I's "Beautiful Day" was already one of my favorites from them, but it just got upgraded X 10. Evidence, Big Pooh, Aloe Blacc, Fashawn, Mickey Factz, Theo and Kes Kaos all lend verses to the remix. The song is fire, especially halfway through when the beat switches (2nd beat co-produced by N/A). In other U-N-I news, the video for their single "Soul Hop" will be debuting tomorrow and running all day on MTV2. It looks like it's going to be a real big week for Thurz & Y-O, congrats my dudes.

Yeah that's two free mixtapes in one week. Normally we don't go so hard with the the mixtape co-signs, but good music is good music and we'd hate to not share it with y'all.
