Consequence and Rik Cordero team up for what Cons swears is the last video off his Don't Quit Your Day Job LP with this short film for the album's intro track, "Job Song." In a message on Kanye's blog last week, Con's states that he and Rik decided to unleash the video today to "reinforce the importance of going out to vote becuz right now the ECONOMY SUCKS!!! It's the Cons fool, wORd."

In this first video we get Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Talib Kweli, Mark Ronson, and RZA taking the mic to toast to the success of their friend, Q-Tip. After the jump is a vid of Tip performing "Award Tour" alongside his cousin Consequence, as well as a vid from the red carpet featuring interviews with Q-Tip, Ali Shaeed, 88-Keys, and the RZA. Consequence and Wale recently had a show at the University of Maryland. Here is some behind the scenes footage from the show. Also a previously unreleased song from Wale just hit the net called "Hate." The joint was recorded in 2004 and was meant to appear on the score for The Wire.
Last week we gave you that Consequence song "Mr Popularity" off of Statik Slektah's upcoming album Stick 2 The Script. Today the two hook up again for this song, "There Can Only Be One.

Tonight at the Knitting Factory in NYC Kanye's Good Music artists Consequence, Big Sean, KiD CuDi and GLC along with Wale, Termanology, and Mickey Factz will be performing. Consequence is definitely a rapper who has embraced and taken full advantage of this new media movement. In this interview with BeetTV Quence breaks down his e-hustle and shows off a few of his toys. We also have a new song from Quence called "Mr. Popularity." The song is off of Statik Selektah's upcoming album Stik 2 the Script dropping October 21st.
Slow news day, but this video is pretty entertaining. It's Pharrell and DJ Premier talking backstage. Pharrell retells a story about a recent conversation he had with Busta Rhymes about a song they were working on. The Busta and Q-Tip impersonations are hilarious. Then Pharrell proceeds to praise Premo (as every producer should) and beatbox some of his classics. Consequence films the episode for his kyte channel and you can also spot a wide eyed and confused looking Chris Brown in the background.
Today we have another news report as police continue to search for Adam's killer. In an effort to gain more clarity on what exactly happened to Adam, the channel 27 news team interviews two more of Adam's friends; Consequence and KiD CuDi. Side note, before becoming an investigative reporter, Chip Adams was an intern at Okayplayer.
DJ Peter Rosenberg's video montage of backstage and performances from Glow In The Dark X NYC. Features appearances from Consquence, Q-Tip, Lupe Fiasco, Nikki Jean, Will.I.aM, and more. The two nights playing the Garden (home again!) must have been a total dream-come-true for Mr. Rosenberg... earning him the Best Week Ever from OKP. Congrats dude!

Have a good weekend people....
The final video off of Consequence's Don't Quit Your Day Job, "Disperse." The song features GLC and Really Doe, while the video features Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell, Chad Hugo, and Kanye West, among others. Seriously though, this is the last video off the album.
