We've got some new music from the most loved/hated artist on Okayplayer, Charles Hamilton. Phase II of the Hamiltonization process is his tape "And then they played Dilla." I'm sure just the mention of the name is going to have y'all talking. The song is called "What's Going On," and although I can't co-sign everything this kid does, this song is cool wit me. The tape is presented by YouHeardThatNew , Imeem and DJ Skee. Follow me after the jump for the tracklisting and download link.

To follow up that mixtape, here's the latest edition of The Real. Just to beat y'all over the head with some more Hamilton.

The Hamiltonization process
is officially underway. To debut the first tape from Charles Hamilton's 8 mixtape series, OKP presents "The Death of the Mixtape Rapper" hosted by DJ Skee and presented by Imeem. Mr. Hamilton feels people are too quick to judge him without really getting to know who he is, so check the tapes, then insert as much love/hate as you feel necessary. Follow me after the jump for the download link and track listing.

So we were mistaken yesterday, that "Best Blogger Alive" joint will not be on Charles Hamilton's upcoming OKP mixtape, "Death of the Mixtape Rapper." This song, however, "Mixtape Vents" is the first leak off of the tape.

Charles Hamilton comes through with this joint "Best Blogger Alive (Shadow's Lullaby)." The song is off of Sonic's Charles'  "Death of the Mixtape Rapper" mixtape. The tape is of course phase 1 of the Hamiltonization Process which begins on OKP next week.

Charles Hamilton is not one to be subtle.  Everything he's done has been blasted off to the far corners of the internet since the start of this year.  Now the Interscope signee has teamed up with eight websites to drop a series of mixtapes over the course of three months starting with us on Sept 2nd.  It's being called, The Hamiltonization Process.  CH explains:

"The Hamiltonization Process... the process of Hamiltonizing people which means getting people to understand me and just following me and my music as opposed to just being a fan of one song or one aspect.  Just understanding me.  i don't want to be compared to other rappers becuase all I do is just music and I experiment with music and style all the time.  I want people to understand me as much as they can.... and get get Hamiltonized."

Weclome to processing.  Now check out the official Web site as we count down to the virtual tour.  Full mixtape release schedule and list of partner sites after the jump.
