Tomorrow 10.Deep is droppin' a new mixtape called The New Deal mixed by DJ Benzi. The tape features new music by Kanye West, Blu, Wale, Santogold, KiD CuDi, Kidz In The Hall, Kid Sister, Joell Ortiz and more. Here is one song off the project called "2nd Time" by Wale featuring Brother Ali. Ali really spits that truth on this one, pay attention. Check 10.Deep tomorrow for the full tape.
Here's the first video (Dir. Rik Cordero) off of Jake One's LP White Van Music. The song is called "The Truth" featuring Freeway and Brother Ali, and it's one of the many joints from the album with that heavy head-nod factor. White Van Music is in stores now.
A few weeks ago, Jake One & Brother Ali stopped by DJ Hyphen and J. Moore's Sound Session radio to talk about Jake's White Van Music album. In these videos, Jake gives an in-depth look at how he created the project, and gives some behind the scenes stories for every song. Brother Ali (who is featured on the album) is there to chime in with his perspective. White Van Music is in stores now and is one of many albums I have in regular rotation. Producer Jake One has been leaking a few joints off his upcoming album White Van Music and they are both too hot to not share with the people. So to catch y'all up here are a couple heat rocks he let loose. "The Truth " with Freeway and Brother Ali and "Trap Door" with MF DOOM, White Van Music is in stores October 7th. We're a little late on this one, but this past friday we got an email from Mike who hit us with some real good concert footage from a June 18th show at the KoKo night club in London.
