Lets start the day off with some new ish from the left coast with the assist from a Detroit heatmaker. This Caltroit collabo is in the form of a new joint from No One (Dae One x Noni Spitz) entitled "We Do It" produced by Black Milk. For more of that Cali goodness, be on the lookout for No One's upcoming mixtape, The Pre-Substance.

It's only fitting that the queen of hip-hop soul, Mary J. Blige, joins hip-hop legends Krs-One and Buckshot for a track off their collabo album, Survival Skills. The song is called "The Way I Live" and it was produced by Black Milk and arranged by Dan The Man. This joint is a little more upbeat than the otherleaks, and may be my favorite one so far. Survival Skills will be in stores September 15th via Duck Down Records.

We're just 5 days away from Mick Boogie x Peter Bjorn & John's Re-Living Thing remix album. This project is sounding crazy so far. The other day, Mick let another track from the collabo loose. This one features a few of Mick's favorite Detroit emcees (Big Sean, Black Milk, T3) on "Just The Past."

Black Milk recently rocked the house up at AC Supper Club in Venice California. Milk brought out CA resident Ras Kass to bless the crowd with some bars. Afterwards, Milk gets things hype with a performance of "Sound The Alarm" with a live band.
Moooore Leche! Black Milk drops off another joint to bang in ya whip. This one is entitled "Set Go." It's brief, but it gives you that quick fix to start the weekend.
Black Milk has been taking us around the world with his Broadcast video series. In this the latest installment, we're live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. We get some backstage footage at the Miles Davis Hall with Tali Kweli and Daru (Little Brother also performed), afterwards we get a live clip of Milk performing "Sound The Alarm."
It's no secret that Black Milk is one of my favorite producer/emcee out now. I'm over here waiting for that next Random Axe track to leak. In the meantime, Milk put out this joint "In the A.M." to hold his fans down. As always, this one goes hard.
The latest edition of Black Milk's Broadcast takes on a different spin as he honors his long time friend, and fellow Detroit representative, Titus "Baatin" Glover. "Baatin was the first to discover Black's production talent nearly a decade ago, and they'd been tight ever since. On July 20--less than two weeks before Baatin's death--the reunited Slum Village filmed a video for a new track from their forthcoming album, Slum Manifesto. Black Milk Broadcast reveals some exclusive footage from the video shoot."
German production duo, JR & PH7, enlist the help of Detroit's own Black Milk and Guilty Simpson for this track, "Top Rank." The song is the first single off of JR & PH7's album, The Standard. As slept on as they are in the states, it's good to see Milk and Guilty get that overseas love.
Episode 2 of Black Milk Broadcast gives us more footage of Milk on tour in Europe. Watch Milk's Henny induced antics around the streets of Paris, followed by a live performance of "The Matrix." Tronic is in stores now.
