Now that Big Boi has his label situation squared away with Def Jam, lets hope we'll receive his solo album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, sooner rather than later. In the meantime, here's another new cut from Daddy Fat Sacks (pardon me) that should have you anticipating the album, called "Fo Yo Sorrows" featuring George Clinton and Too $hort.

I don't know if this album still even has a release date, but newly signed Def Jam artist and one half of OutKast, Big Boi, says his solo LP, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, is coming soon. At the recent Heineken Red Star Soul Show in Atlanta, Big Boi gave fans a preview of one of the cuts off the LP with this brief clip of "Daddy Fat Sacks." Audio quality isn't the best.
DJ Z brings us another exclusive interview from backstage at the Chicago stop of Rock The Bells. In this clip, Z sits down Big Boi to discuss his feelings on being the only Southern artist on the RTB lineup, when we can expect the new OutKast album, and more details on his solo LP, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty (9/09).
This past Friday the Sneakerpimps tour rolled through NYC. The bill for the night included Big Boi, Jadakiss, The Clipse, The Cool Kids, and Wale. Above watch Big Boi perform "Skew It On The Bar-B," "Rosa Parks," "The Way You Move," "So Fresh, So Clean," and more. After the jump watch clips from performances by The Cool Kids and Wale, courtesy of Miss Info.
"If you behave I can take your number baby..." If you're anyone else but Big Boi, this might not be a good way to run game on a girl. Since you're not him, let Sir Luscious Left Foot show you how it's done with his new song "Ringtone." There have been some heavy delays, but Big Boi's solo album, Sir Luscious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty, is expected to drop this year. After Big Boi's album drops we'll allegedly get an Andre 3000 solo album followed by an OutKast album all in '09. Almost sounds too good to be true to me.
With more shots being aimed at Hip-Hop as of late after this whole Ludacris-Obama fiasco, it's good to see CNN giving a rapper a chance to speak on some of the better things going on with Hip-Hop these days. CNN talks to Big Boi about his newest video, "Sumthin's Gotta Give." Big speaks on the song, and about how he switched sides from Clinton to Obama after her failed smear campaign attempts.
Any day with new Dungeon Family material is a good day. Sir Luscious Left Foot, bka Big Boi from OutKast, comes through with two videos today. The first, the official video for his pro progress/pro Obama lead single, "Sumthin' Gotta Give" feat Mary J. Blige, off his upcoming album Sir Luscious Left Foot:The Son Of Chico Dusty. The album is due out in late Sept/early Oct. Follow me after the jump for a bonus Big Boi interview with Dj Envy. In the vid he speaks on his current relationship with Andre 3000 and clears up the rumors on the confrontation he had with former ally Killer Mike.
